I am an emerging Melbourne-based abstract artist.

My approach to painting has evolved through an ongoing interest in embodiment and improvisation as ways of knowing and making.

Working primarily with acrylic paint on plywood, I see painting in the same way as dance, as a balance between technique and the emergent moment. Each work unfolds and develops through gesture, colour, and considered decision-making.

My current work explores the felt experience of the void as experienced through Contact Improvisation, my dance practice of choice, not as a space of nothingness, but as one of “everythingness”.
